Dear freshmen, welcome to Tsinghua!

With backpacks and freshly minted student cards in hand, Tsinghua University’s incoming freshmen of 2023 wrote a magical opening for their Tsinghua story: Enrollment Day.

This year, Tsinghua has welcomed over 3800 new members, including nearly 200 international students hailing from 32 different countries. 

The moment the new students arrived at the station or airport, they were welcomed by student volunteers with bright smiles and vibrant signs proclaiming, “Tsinghua, here we come!”

Smiles and hopes were shared between eager freshmen and friendly senior peers who shared the joys of studying at Tsinghua.

The bustling enrollment day's registration process was accompanied by lively performances from Tsinghua’s Student Art Troupe, along with interactive exhibits presented by various departments. These additions brought a vibrant touch to the entire proceedings.

At the same time, students were provided with support for all aspects of campus life, including interest-free temporary loans for those with financial difficulties. 

Each new freshman arriving on Tsinghua campus today has been presented with a book with blank pages. 

On enrollment day, every one of them wrote a splendid beginning with laughter and conversation. 

A Tsinghua story of their own awaits to be written.
